What's happening in Myanmar
On February 1, 2021, Myanmar military detained president Win Myint, state counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, and high-rank officials.
The military commander-in-chief, senior general Min Aung Hlaing forcibly reformed the government mandated by Myanmar people, claiming the previous election taken place in Nov was fraudulent.
It was announced on the same day that Myanmar would be under military dictatorship for a year.
Military took over saying there were 10 million fraud votes which is totally untrue, 83% of Myanmar voted for NLD. The data can be found here. source
Internet access, phone calls, national TV channels and media were cut off that morning.
On the 3rd day, facebook, the most commonly used social media in Myanmar, was banned for a week with a statement, "to cut down the spread of false news and alarms".

They're saying that they will no longer govern us through dictatorship. But it has only been 5 days of them being on top, and they've banned facebook, twitter, instagram and also cut of some wifi and sim cards. They're arresting every protester and shutting our mouth in every way they can.
They cut off internet access on Feb 6 and 7. This is a breach of democracy that was hardly earned after decades of blood and tears.
We refuse military dictatorship.
We want democracy.
May the coup fall.
Civil Disobedience Movement

the refusal to comply with certain laws considered unjust, as a peaceful form of political protest.
Some cvil workers are refusing to work for the military.
Some resigned from their jobs as to reject dictatorship.
They are leading CDM.
Students and civilians stand with civil workers as to call out the coup, and ask for freedom.

Since then, three-finger salute is widely used as people protest peacefully.
Protests

At 8 p.m. every night, Myanmar people bang their pots, pans, and honk their cars to protest the coup.
It's believed that banging steel pots would chase the evil away.

A group of students protested in Mandalay on Feb 4.
At least 3 people were arrested after the protest.

Feb 7, the second day of protests in Yangon.

On Feb 28, 26 people were killed in one day. One was shot in his eye and the bullet went through the eye socket. One was shot around the abdomen and blood was dripping like water from the gunshot wound along the way he was carried. They lost their life. It's the bloodiest day since the coup.
Total death in 28 days - 34, thousands got hurt and thousands were arrested. This is not a civil war. It's crime against humanity.
